Canada skilled Worker Visa

If you are someone looking to immigrate to Canada via a skilled worker visa then applying through the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) is an option to consider depending on your specific situation.  If successful, applying through the FSWP can provide a pathway to permanent residency in Canada.

The FSWP is a points-based program that has been developed by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that is designed to provide permanent residency for people based on their personal situation and history, their abilities and their skills.  Points are earned based on your education, work experience, language proficiency and many other parameters.  For example, having a Canadian high school diploma earns 5 points but if you have a 3 year post-secondary degree you’d earn 21 points.
